About The Speaker

An internationally renowned trust professional who has served on the boards of regulated trust companies in the Isle of Man, the Cayman Islands and Switzerland. He was the Deputy CEO of HSBC’s trust business in Switzerland, where he worked for nearly 15 years. Previously a Board Member of STEP Worldwide, he currently serves on STEP’s Central Education Committee.

A leading figure in international trust education and former Chief Examiner of a major offshore qualification, Robin has been actively involved in the STEP/CLT Diploma programme since its inception, as well as lectured and written course materials. Robin has been a tutor for the STEP Certificate and Diploma in International Trust Management since its inception. He is also the author of the STEP FACTA and CRS: Law & Practice courses and a contributor to the course reading for the STEP Advanced Certificate in Cross-Border Estates.

He is the author of several text books on offshore trust law and offshore company administration, and is active in professional bodies including STEP.
